How Did you hear about Chefs Center of California?

I heard about Chefs Center of California by asking around. I heard that a lot of food businesses that are now established have started at Chefs Center, so I decided to call to get more information.

What prompted you to choose our facility?

The facility was large and clean. There was ample workspace for everyone. In addition, Chefs Center had all of the equipment that I needed to get started. General Manager Chef Larry Bressler made the process of getting started easy. Many of the other places I contacted seemed disorganized.

What were you concerned about or afraid about prior to starting to work here?

My main concern when I started was whether I would have to wait to use stoves or equipment.

What happened when you started working here?

I’ve never had a problem with having to wait too long for a stove or a piece of equipment.

What did you do and what results did you get?

I was able to launch my caramel business, Le Bon Garcon, by using the facilities at Chefs Center. Chefs Center provided me with easy access to a commercial kitchen. The great thing about Chefs Center is that I can use the facility when I want to, but I did not have to commit to a long-term lease before I knew whether my business was viable or not. Chefs Center provided me with a convenient way to start my business quickly. I think that Chefs Center is doing a great service for the entrepreneurial community of Pasadena and Los Angeles.
